How to find out FP progress/results

Hi,

Weeks after FP2, how do I find out where it stands
for the FP result, if the online info does not show it?

Is there a phone/FAX/email to find out the info?

call at 304-625-5590/2406 and provide your A # and they will let you know. Chhose option three for representative when you call.

FP sent back to INS in one day!

I called the number and I was told that my FP result
was sent to INS the same day my FP was done.

Then I have the following questions:

(1) Is it really this fast?
(2) Does INS require any other security checks for the 485 purpose?
(3) ISN not updating the online to "FP received" 5 weeks after
they received the FP result (they only changed the LUD). Is this
normal?
(4) Is it worthwhile to ask INS to transfer my application to local
INS office? How do I do that?
