I am seeking some advice on how to proceed after I-140 approval. My spouse's I-140 was approved recently, at the time I-485 was filed for my spouse concurrently. Now we need to file for I-485 for myself and our daughter who are already in the US, I am on H1 and my daughter on H4. I am hoping we can do it ourself without the help of the attorney.
Could someone please guide us through the process? Do we have to wait for a visa number from the National Visa Center before we can begin filling the forms out?
If so how long does it take and is it worth getting medical exam and phtos etc ready now?
