I became US Citizen back in 2006.
I've always used my Chinese name on all of my documents, so during the interview, I wanted to add my English name... except I didn't know that I was suppose to also put my Chinese name on there.
So right now, on my citizenship paper - it only has my English name.
On all my other documents, such as Driver's license and Social security card - they all still only have my Chinese name.
As for all my other personal account and student ID, I just put both my English and Chinese name. But legally, I know I would still need to do a name change to include both my Chinese and English name on my citizenship paper.
Plus I want to get passport in the future, and I would like to have both my English and Chinese name on there.
I am clueless on how to get started on the name change process, what website should I visit?
What are the steps do I need to go through?
and approximately how long and how much will it cost?
