How to delay sending Passports to keep the PR process alive to buy some time?

I received PP request recently. My medicals will expire by March 5th 2006.
So If I send my PP, I will have to land by March 5th 2006.
My US 485 is pending and I have my PD as current. I want to delay sending my passports so that I can keep the Canada PR process in the pipeline.
I dont mind redoing the medicals once they expire.
How can I buy extra time in this process? Any one has any clue?

I think you should send your passport ASAP because you have very less time remaining in expiring your medical. I dont know why didn't you send your passport yet.
When is your 90 day limit for passport is ending?

Do everything ASAP or lose your Canada PR.
