I just filed an I-539 for my mother, and realized that I had typed in the wrong date-of-birth on the form.
The form was filed about two weeks ago, and I got the acknowledgment last week, confirming that the form and fee was received.
Unfortunately, we did not spot this error until this morning.
What can I do to fix this? Should I refile with a fresh, corrected I-539 with an explanation? Or do I need to redo the application from scratch, with another fee? Or is there some other form for amending the application?
Her original DOS is until June 20, so I want to be proactive so that I can catch it before it goes into a RFI cycle if possible.
Thank you
