How to contact USCIS by phone regarding oath information?

Apart from infopass, is there another way I can call USCIS and enquire about oath date? My interview was held in early May at the DC office and I still don't have any updates on my oath. We are also expecting a baby soon, so is there any way that we can get any status from them?

I called the USCIS number that is advertised in their site but could not get to speak to anyone. Can anyone give me the number and how they were able to talk to someone at USCIS?

Call 1-800-375-5283, press 1, 2 and 4, and you'll get a representative. They might just tell you to wait to hear from them, so if you really want your call to be escalated, you'll have to fib. Tell them you applied for citizenship or something a couple of months ago, but you haven't received confirmation, and your cheque hasn't yet been cashed. They'll escalate, and you can ask them for detailed information.
