How to check whether finger print is approved?

Can anybody tell me how to check whether the finger print is approved or nto? I did my FP during the first week of March.

Call the FBI and ask for the status. 1-304-625-5590 select
option 4 and tell them you want to check the status of your finger
print submission. You\'ll need your A#.

FP: 03/20/01. I called FBI this morning and they said that the result of FP was sent to INS the next day BUT they did NOT say whether FP was approved. They said call INS. How can I find out the status? Do I have to call at the NSC AVM# to find out?

FBI will only tell you weather it approved or rejected because of poor quality. You need to call apropriate INS service center to find out more. But you know it is very hard to catch them! If it is approved by FBI then you don\'t have to worry about it unless you have some kind of criminal back ground.

But they refused to specify whether it was approved or rejected. They said that they do not give out such info, have to call INS. So if they sent it to INS does it mean itz accepted?

I too called the FBI and I got the same answer. I am also very interested to know what it means when they say we have processed and sent it to INS
