How to check Visa stamping status ?

Hi,

My H1-B extn petition is approved. During PA, my passport was found to be damaged and I have submitted new one for stamping. It has been 2 weeks and I have not recieved any info about it.
Is there a way to find out the status of my Visa stamping? I need to know any confirmed time limit by which it'll be done, for my travel plans.

You did not provide any info where you went for Visa stamp. You did not provide info about US consulate or US embassy. Where are you in US or out of US?
