How to check processing times for Plastic card?

Is there a w y to find out what dates are currently being processed for plastic cards to get an idea when our turn will come?

Does it depend on your local INS office?
 
People are worried about approvals here

To my knowledge there is no way you can find out this.
All you can do is to check the website for an update.
I have seen somewhere that the message will be updated as "Your card has been ordered/mailed on so and so date" and blah blah.
Trust me, dont run after it. You got your approval. Now enjoy that. Even if you receive your card and you are CHINTAMANI kind of person, then you will keep worrying for something or the other.

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing other than looking at the website for a message change "cards ordered on xx September blah blah....". If you have not received your card in 5 months, you can fill a inquiry form G-731 and forward it to the service center.

Which state are you from ?
 
Its usually

6-8 weeks after PP stamping. But you seem to have passed it.

Did you change your address or are there any other applications attached to yours? If everything is clear, you might wanna call up.

Really there is no way to check this. But I can say it is taking atleast 2 months now.

I got my PP stamped on 06/25/03 at Newark,NJ, just now checked the BCIS website, its says card ordered on 2nd sep, so dont worry your turn will be soon.
 
Thanks naag. That was what I was trying confirm. I don't know if your local office has anything to do with when you get your card.....

My local offcie is in Houston
