How to check if money order has been cashed?

My husband has applied for H1 visa revalidation.
What is the process to check if the money order has been cashed?

If you bought the MO at the PO, you can inquire at the PO. If you bought it at a bank and it is moneygram, there is a 1800 number you can call for that. Whoever is the issuer (not the place from which you bought, but the company's name on the MO itself), you can go to their site and get this information on what number to call (for e.g. for moneygram go to www.moneygram.com)

I have one doubt regarding money order. There is a place for the address in the MO, do I need to write the address of the Payee, if Yes which address I should write.
