If one changes jobs after 180 days of I-485 filing and don't want to continue with the existing attorney but desire to represent himself on his own, what needs to be done?
Send letter to service center where I-485 is pending; attach the copy of I-485 filing receipt. On cover letter write your name, I-485 filing receipt #.. A#, DOB.. Your address and on the letter makes a request that you request to revoke form G28 filed by attorney XYZ and XYZ no more represent you and no communication should be sent to attorney XYX of your pending I-485 (or other pending petitions) and any communication from USCIS should be sent to you directly on your address…………. Sign the letter with date and write out side the envelope in big bold letters: please revoke the form G28 filed with pending I-485. Send the letter with certified return receipt and keep the copy of any letter, document you send to USCIS
Prq20, please let us know what happens when you send this letter. I am thinking of doing the same thing as soon as I get my receipt number for my I-485.
