How to avoid an RFE?

According to Ciba\'s website, the possible documents asked in request for evidence in 485 stage could be:

   1. Documents to prove that your have always maintained status before filing I-485;
   2. Company\'s letter for continuing employment;
   3. Tax returns and W2 form (three years or so);
   4. Recent pay stubs (three months or so);
   5. Medical redo;
   6. Marriage certificates;
   7. Birth certificates.

Does that mean in order to avoid an RFE I should submit all of the above along with my I485 application? I got a list of required documents from my attorney in which item 1,3 and 4 -- documents to prove legal status, tax returns and pay stubs -- are missing. Now I\'m getter quite confused. Do item 1,3 and 4 usually not necessary until an RFE? Should I ask my attorney to add them into my I485 application?

Your advice will be very much appreciated.

bbmm,

Neither tax return nor pay stubs is a required document for us CSC
filers. Therefore, your lawyer did the right thing.

There is no way to avoid RFE. CSC issues RFE for whatever reasons
they please. Don\'t volunteer to provide extra documents right now.
You will be fine. Not to worry!

My lawyer also has not asked for previous tax filings , or pay stubs ...and i am not providing them either..i think our lawyers are right..only when INS feels they need more proof would they issue RFE.

Just something on the lighter side:
Ha ha ha it is not "they need more proof would they issue RFE. " but "when they need more time to tell congress/higher authorities that all files have been cleared"
Sometimes the more info u provide, the more questions might be asked - it is similar to "if u keep ur mouth shut u will be in less trouble".

Thanks for all your kindly reply. Since it\'s not something that I can control, I won\'t worry too much.
