How to apply for CP when I-140 is pending

My I-140 EB3 is pending at CSC. Can I change my AOS application to CP now. SHould I file the I-824 now?

Any ideas?
 
Thanks ginnu. Since my I-140 is still pending, if I file the I-824 petition and also a request to withdraw my I-485 petition does this mean that the I-824 petition will be approved with my I-140? Or will I have to wait for the I-824 approval.

--- Yes, and your I-140 after approval will go to NVC and NVC will send it to US consulate. Take the service of lawyer to draft the letter
Or will I have to wait for the I-824 approval.
----- if I-824 is submitted before I-140 approval then your I-140 will get approved with CP option.

Thanks ginnu once again. I come under Chennai jurisdiction. I heard that CHennai US consulate doesn't accept AC140 EB3.
