ok my wife is from Mexico, we got married here in the USA in 2007 and for family reasons we had to go back to Mexico and she came back on her tourist visa and with the I-94, I am a usc and i want to apply for her does any one Know what are the steps that we have to take?????? is she gonna have any problems???

Go to www.uscis.gov and get all the current forms, instructions, fees and addresses. YOU must file an I-130 petition with G-325A's for both of you and an I-864 with all the required evidence. SHE concurrently files an I-485, I-131, and I-765 with all the required evidence. Read the instructions carefully and you won't need a lawyer unless she has a criminal record.

From your posted question, this appears to be a suddenly occurring change of plans or impromptu decision, not well thought out at all in advance. THAT circumstance makes all the difference in her chances of adjusting status after entering on a tourist visa. You and she show no signs of having had a preconceived intent to immigrate improperly. Your lack of any planning is actually a good thing in this circumstance. To have done otherwise, would have been grounds for denial of adjustment of status.
