02 series will start with 02-01
The INS year starts on 10.01
When the approvals will start for 02 is anybody\'s guess.

Based on this (sample) data 01 series ends with 299 (for NDs app 09/28, 10/01). By the way appearently I-485 approvals are not following WAC # in exact way! They are going with ND month (right now Sept ND cases are getting approvals and not in any particuler order in that month though!). It is highly possible that we may see some 02 series approvals (cases with Oct ND month) with in next 3 to 4 weeks.

I use to think that they are based on RD but after compiling this data for couple of months now I am very confident that it follows ND. By the way I am a very good example to prove this theory (check my data in summary pages. I have June RD and Sept ND and still waiting).

PS: FPs are scheduled based on RD though!

I think it is by ND
We are seeing approvals based more on ND than on RD.
Also, when I sent a fax inquiry to CSC, they replied that they received my case on 08.20.01 which is my ND.
