How the Hell Do You Guys Get Through to the INS!!!

Guys,

I read messages every day on this board from people
who talked to the INS IIO.

However, I can\'t get through even after 40 minutes of
dialing. The number is 949 831 8427 right?

Can some kind soul please let me know the "trick" of
getting through?

Do you have to call at a certain time, day, using a certain
re-dial approach?

If you don\'t want to share your expert knowledge, send me
a private mail (SEND PRIVATE, top of the page).
I need to contact the INS to see if my case is assigned to
an officer, if it is, then I won\'t send in the change of
employer notification as per the 180 day rule memo.

I had a very easy time

I was very very surprised when I called at 2.30PM friday and was able to get through after 3rd redial. I waited only 10-15 min before an IIO came online. Not much help though. Still waiting for my FP.
 
Bongo I could get thru the CSC number and speak to an IIO and it was today it took me around 45 minu

Can u tell me how much time it takes to get into the system after the finger priniting can u share ur exp???
 
My WAC# is 01-179-xxx

I also post messages under nameless. SFO,waiting for FP. The IIO gave me the fax number and asked me to send a fax. I am going to send it tomorrow.

RD is 04/30, ND is 6/28.
Received FP notice on 10/03/01
Did it on 10/09/01 scheduled for
11/07/01.

AVM updated to "FP received "
on 10/13/01.
