How soon can you travel after the visa interview?

Hi. My wife has visa interview (F2A) category at new Delhi consulate. I want to know how soon after the interview (if approved) can she travel to the US? Is the visa packet given out in the interview or does it come later in the mail?

She can go to the US as soon as she gets back her passport with the immigrant visa stamp and the other associated papers, which should be within a week after the interview if there are no unusual delays or requests for additional information.
