How soon can I change from employer A to employer B after entering the US on employer A's visa stamp? I suppose as soon as employer B files the non-frivolous H1B petition? Would there be any problems if the transfer if filed within a week of re-entering the US? I have worked for employer A for several months, first on F1 OPT and then on H1B status. The H1B stamp based on employer A is the only H1B stamp on my passport. My concern is that I only recently used employer A's papers to get the visa stamp (but would like to work for employer B a week after re-entering). BTW, employer A knows about my intentions and is fine with it. Would there be any problems in switching employers soon after arrival? Thanks.
