Dear Friends,
Thanks in advance for your time.
I am trying to clarify the following
I got my LPR on May 9th 2002.
I went to Europer in 2002 = 15 days
I went to India in 2003 = 60 days
I went to India in 2006 = 80 days
The number of days that I spent in total outside USA
= 155 days.
Now, do I become eligible to apply on Feb 10 2007, that is
exactly 4 years 276 days after getting LPR ? aka 89 days before the 5 year deadline.
Do I need to add my 155 days to my May 9th 2002 which is October 14th 2007. Then subtract 90 days from it which makes it July 14th 2007 to apply ?
My understanding is that
Condition 1 = You have to wait 5 years after LPR to apply.
Condition 2 = You have to have spend 3 years of those 5 in the USA.
Condition 3 = You should not have spent more than 6 months continiously outside the United States at a stretch.
Anything I am missing.
Please help.
With Regards,
