How safe is to taravel after a deportation case is terminated?

DeportationCase

Hi All,
I have been arrested when I was in a friend's store at the cash register. At that time I was on H4. Later I was released on a bond. My husband filed his 485 at VSC in 2004 beginning. I filed my 485(dependent) with immigration court in mid 2004, while my case was pending at the immigration court. Now the case is terminated based on pending 485 and pending 601(Application for Waiver of Grounds of Excludability, based on hardship to spouse and US born child).

My 485 has been transferred from the court to the VSC. I applied for EAD and AP in the beginning of 2005. Now if my AP gets approved then can I visit India and re-enter US safely with AP? Is anyone faced same/similar situation?

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance,

DeportationCase.

Better not to go out. How many days you were working? You may be stopped at POE. Unauthorized work is same as illegal stay.

Thank you for your reply. I did not work there. I was just covering for a person for 5mins. The other person went to get lunch. Border Patrol office wants to arrest that person as she was out of status and staying illeagally. They took me into custody at the time as their system was showing that I was also out of status. But I had a valid status as H4 from the day I came to US.
That was an unfortunate situationg that I was there at that moment.
I did talk to my attorney about visiting India. She said may be I will be asked too many questions at the port of erty.

Thanks for your help

It is really unfortunate.
Which city did it happen? These things are common thing in border cities.

Did they put any charges like over staying or unauthorized work? If any they have placed any of the charges I would not take risk of going out of US.
