how safe is it to change the address after I-485 approval and after PP stamping? I have heard horror stories of Plastic card getting lost in mail and being sent to the old address even after changing the address at NSC etc... any comments?

You can and should request forward (redirect) service at your post office.

It\'s just a simple application to fill out. Works for 1 year.

Besides, I guess it\'s absolutely OK to ask new tenants to notify you if something \'INS-like\' arrives in the mail. Personally I would provide a little gift for them up front (it could go a loooong way).

Same concern

We changed our address after we filed I485, our I485 were approved on
FEB 12, INS sent curtsey copy to my previous address, it wasn\'t forward to my current address and returned back, although we filled forward request in post office, but other letters can be forwarded.
We went to passport stamp with the original one that lawer sent to me.
When we did the passport stamp we filled out a form with our current address. I don\'t know which address they use to send our plastic card.

Should I submit a change address form to INS? who have the same situation as me?
