How often should we visit US to keep the GC alive.

I want to know after we get the GC , How often should we visit US to keep it alive ??? as I was planning to work for in India for some time.

Its like AP and valid for 2 years.

I believe that if you maintain your stay as far as the above postings, that does not absolutely protect your GC.

The officer at POE may be suspicious with too much absesnces from the country and may revoke GC. The logic is the green card is given so you be a permanent resident of the country and the burden is on you to show it.

If you work for a US company in India

and continue to file tax returns here you have some leeway. But check with a lawyer
