Hello people,

I was wondering 1) how much money does a person need in his bank account for DV interview, I've read about $15-18K for 2 persons is ok and 2) if the bank statement can be of the previous 3-2 months ?

Depends in what country your interview is, some embassies will only accept you with affidavit of support letter.

Things like listing your assets value helps greatly... house,cars etc... We`ve done that and got through our interview in London without affidavit.
 
It totally depends from country to country. In my case, they didn't want a penny from me! They didn't even ask how I would survive in US.
 
Thanks for your advice. I truly appreciate. Now i have 2 questions to ask.

Qn.1 Is it true that we should indicate our CN on all these forms we're sending back to KCC.

Qn.2 Am going to be hosted by my auntie to the USA, does that also mean that i should present the bank statements
