How Much time would it take to get EAD/AP from TSC or did anyone got their AP from the local INS office, if so could you please let me know what documents should we take with us. Please reply.

We got our first EAD (applied along with 485) in 45-60 days. We applied for the second one (when the first one was about to expire) at the local INS office and got it in less than 20 days. We applied for AP at the local INS too and got it in less than 30 days. These times, it seems, vary from case to case. To be on the safe side, you could add 30 days to these times and plan your applications. Hope this helps.

I got my AP after 30 days, the EAD took closer to 80. the applications were filed at the same time as my I-485, in November 2000.
