How much time they will take to approve my 485

Hi,

I was kind of unlucky guy.My 140 /485 were applied in Nov 2003 and got my FP in May 2004 and got my 140 in Dec 2004 and RFE on 485 in the first week of Jan 2005.RFE replied by last week of Jan and LUD stopped after Ist of Feb 2005. Anyway my PD is Jun 2002. I do not know what the hell is going on with my case.If anybody in the same boat please comment what to do!!

I am in same situation

My situation is almost similar to you. Applied 140/485 concurrently in December 2003. Got FP done in May 2004. Got 140 approval in end of Jan 2005. Received RFE for my wife. Replied back in March. No update since then. The only positive is my PD is 31st May 2002. So I am thinking by end of June I will press my lawyer to do an enquiry.
At this time you have to wait for priority date to move little further.

Mine is ND :- 29-APR-03, received RFE DEC'04, Response sent on 04-FEB-05. Waiting from then.

Could be that your PD is not before JUNE 1ST 2002. Strictly speaking the PD is 01JUN2002 per the visa bulletin. I am hoping that it moves fast in the next bulletin.

My observation is official published date +3 months, so if you are lucky it will be Aug/Sept when they will touch the case again. But who knows Its NSC....
 
LUD - Last Updated Date (found on the USCIS website to indicate that somebody at NSC has been working on your file.
To see this first create a portfolio with your applications on uscis website)

RD - Receipt date (date your application is received - applicable for I140 and I485)
ND - Notice Date ( applicable for I140 and I485)
AD - Approval Date ( applicable for I140 and I485)
PD - Priority Date ( applicable for only Labor)
