How much time it takes to receive RFE notice after RFE issued?

For me AVM message says "RFE issued on Aug 27 2002". Me or my lawyer did not receive any notice from INS. Any one know how much time it takes usually to get the notice?

Generally within a week..

but due to long weekend you can expect some delay but not more than 14 days.

One morething is you won't be receiving the RFE notice and only your attorney receives the copy, so check with him every day.

Also, the earlier you send response, the earlier you get approval.
