How much time it takes after RFE is receiced by VCS to update the phone system

Gurus and holymen...shed somelight! How much time it takes after RFE is receiced by VCS to update the phone system. I sent my RFE response to VSC on may 8th. Still the phone system tells, rfe is sent on ..blah blah. How to confirm that they received RFE.

I sent the rfe reply for my wife on 5/24. The AVM still says that the RFE was sent on blah...On calling INS, the IIO said they did receive the response on 5/30. So you may like to talk with the IIO. Try between 8 and 8:30am.

For me,

RFE issued on 05/08/2001
RFE Replied on 05/25/2001
VSC Recevied on 05/30/2001 but AVM updated on 06/07/2001.
It makes me to believe that, they are taking more time (1 or 2 weeks) to update AVM.

I filed an RFE for my I-485 processing which reached INS Vermont on the 25 May 2001. It was for my latest Employer Letter , pay stubs and Date of Birth Certificate

                Until yesterday the automated voice message went like this :
 
                "We got the documentation for the Evidence on the 25th of May 2001. A case of this nature generally takes 365-540 days.
                  But as preliminary processing was completed , further processing time on this case is approximately 0 days."
 
                  Now when I checked it now it says :
                "We got the documentation for the Evidence on the 25th of May 2001. A case of this nature generally takes 365-540 days.
                  But as preliminary processing was completed , further processing time on this case is approximately 540 days."
 
                   What does this mean ?

For my RFE, I have replied on may 25th. The IIO said that it is received on May 30th. Till date, AVM has not been updated. Though the IIO confirmed the receipt of it, and asked me to wait 30 days further, I do not know why the AVM is not updated. I feel that they have not opened the package at all.

In America, everything is fast, like super fast highway, except the a few offices like INS. Government is always Government!
