Folks,
If anyone has information from personal experience on how quickly NSC
processed their cases after responding to REF, please post. I just
sent out our REFs and I have rejoined the line. Thanks

I am on the same boat. I replied to RFE on 05/24, AVM updated on 06/06/01. Waiting for approval.

My details: I485: RD: 03/30/00; ND:05/02/00; FP: 12/12/00; RFE issued on: 05/04/01.

I checked AVM, it says since the preliminary processing has been completed already, it will take 400 days to process this case. What type of message you guys are getting?

I have not checked the AVM. The 400 days processing window cannot
be right in my opinion. It is probably a case of the AVM going crazy
again, as it often seems to do. Let us see if we can get someone that
has gone through this to join in and respond.

After RFE, I got similar AVM message, which must have gone crazy. Don\'t worry too much about it. Acording to IIO , the 400 days is total time from case filing.

I was issued an RFE on 05/02/01 and replied to INS on 05/22/01 and I learned today that they acknowledged receiving it only on 06/06/01.
The explanation I got from the IIO at NSC was that their mail room is so backlogged.
