How much does the passport appl'n process cost?

Hi, guys.

Application fee for Passport & Card = $95

Is there an "Acceptance fee" (at PO) = $25?

Onward & return Express delivery = $35


Where is this amount (for #1, and 2) to be paid, and can a single personal check be used?

No if you going to the post office, you have to bring Two separate checks or One check payable to State Department and Cash or other acceptable forms of payments. You can buy Money Order in the Post Office and use instead of personal checks.

$ 25 payable to Postmaster or Post Office.
Rest of it payable to the State Department

It cost me around $200 (Passport Card Passport Book) with overnight delivery both ways + expedite. Applied on November 13 got Passport on November 21. Still waiting on my Passport Card and NC.

You can applied regular if you not going anywhere within 2-3 weeks and don't waste money for expedite service. Im going to Canada on Thanksgiving and my goal was to get Passport by next Wednesday. But Got it today)

You're paying to the Post office 25 dollars (acceptance fee) + 17.50 for overnight delivery(if chose)
To State Department for Passport +Passport Card = 95 dollars (regular)
+60 if expedite + 17.50 (overnight delivery) (optional as well)
