How much cash?

Is there any regulation how much cash you must have when entering USA as immigrant? For security reasons I'd like to use my payment cards as much as possible, but I have heard that sometimes people is stopped on border for lacking cash.

Since you are approved for a GC you shouldn't hve to worry any more about that part....

The only worry you might have or maybe not at all is if you have enough for the first few months to rent, buy food, clothes, transportation, etc...till you have your life going as you are used to when you lived abroad....
