Guys! I just need your input on how beneficial it is to call FBI number and ask them the status of finger prints (after having FP done at CIS local office) and also how about contacting CIS 800 number to request case status inquiry from Nebraska service center?
Does anybody know whether it can have any impact on expediting the process?

Lazerthegreat,
here is my personal experience,
my cast stated to move after I started to call CIS 800 number and have them submit the dreaded inquiry form to Nebraska, after 4 of those I got my FP notice.
I called the FBI for FP result, they process these and send them to CIS almost on the same day (they are done electronically I guess). the name check is the problwm, because it takes longer (months or more). then again I started calling the CIS and after 3 calls my approval letter was processed.
this could all be pure COINCIDENCE, because I was still well within the time table for their processing (the november 99 date), but my guess that it wouldn't hurt to keep calling them and let them know that(hello,,,,I'm here,,,what is going on) so they get on to your case,,
this just my own personal experience,,
best luck
