Sounds like the flood gate for the approvals is not open yet!!! The USCIS FAQ memo had mentioned March 10th for the identified 10K cases. If they are really going to do this then they would be working overtime this weekend... thoughts???

It seems many people are not updating in this forum but more than 20 apprpovals posted today in trackitt.com.
 
Approved based on new memo?

This morning, my wife and I received the following email for each of our i-485 petitions. I assume it means that our i-485s have been approved :confused::):eek: I have been stuck in namecheck since Feb. 3, 2006 (per FBI mail in response to my letter to the First Lady in 2007).

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On March 10, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

A friend just got her approval email yesterday. Not sure if she was held up by name check, but she is in EB2 ROW which was current all along, and she filed the I-485 in late 2006, so it is likely that something like name check was delaying her case.
