Folks,

Anyone knows or make an intelligent guess how many visas issued so far in June? Can we check this online somewhere without hacking into USCIS system:)????What will be the fate of old timers?

Every day is very frustrating. It's like a stampede out there...Gives an impression Governments all over the World work (or the lack of it) the same way!!!

Hard to find this out for a fact. Since numbers are current for July, there is time till end of July for sure.
Also I have a feeling PD will remain current for at least one more month. Sep bulletin would be the possible candidate for retro again.

You can see the number of approvals reported on these forums - each case would have at least one more (spouse) -- average is probably 3 per family.
Figure a small minority actually report approvals on this forums - maybe no more than 5% of the total pool ..... you can make a guess based on that.

In any case, I don't think the PD can be pulled back after it is released - so till end of July, there will be numbers available.

No one knows how many visas were issued in june. However, I strongly feel that all the pending 485s which is eligible for approval as on May 2007 will get approved by September 2007.

USCIS has replied to omdusman report for 2006, in may 2007 only. In that they mentioned clearly that about 39,000 approvable 485s were pending as on may 2007, which is not counted as backlogged 485s, because of visa number unavailability.

As of may 2007, about 70,000 EB visas remain unused for this fiscal year. This was a projection. Therefore enough visas are available to approve all the pending 485s. In worst case, even if only 40,000 visas are remaining as of june, this is sufficient to approve all the pending 485s.

Thats why both NSC and TSC has taken 10,000 eb visas per month. Therefore, if any one 485 is pending more than 1 year, and name check is cleared, it will get approved.

my 2 cents..

perm_lc,

that's comforting to note..let's hope for the best..

Did you hear about the latest USCIS joke? I guess they are announcing "USCIS District Office Rapid Adjudication Pilot Program of I-485 Applications". The USCIS is scheduled to release a notice on the filing procedures for these Pilot I-485 filing and the optional participation requirement. (as if they do not have enough things on their plate).

Check immigration-law.com for more details.

CIS omdusman replied to MA_Labor's email saying they have apporved 7000 visas till Jun 11, I would say another estimated 8000 till Jun 20th still that make like 15,000 visas in June. This is all estimate, I could be wrong.

Hello perm_lc
Where did you get this 70,000 numbers?
Lot of fuss going on. Don't know what to believe

thx
