How many photos for PP stamping per person?

How many photos do we need for PP stamping per person? Are people taking both ADIT and regular PP photos with them when you go for stamping?

Regular PP --- the rule has changed -- from Sep 1st only regular PP photos for all INS apps.
Right now they accept both - but regular PP is preferred (ADIT has been deprecated !!! )
 
I was planing to take both. But at mail mart (where I went to take the picture), the guy showed a memo issued to them to take PP photos! I could not believe BCIS was so organized! So, I have only taken PP pictures and will be going for stamping tomorrow at SFO. Will post if I run into any picture specific issues.
 
During PP stamping , does the officer return the original I-94 (small white form stapled to the passport) or does he keep it with him ?

Why would anyone want to keep that shady half profile for the next 5-10 years? It is best to get regular PP photos, since from Sept 1, that is the standard anyways.
