How many pay stubs Does INS require in case of RFE????

Is there any standard INS follows for the no. of paystubs it require in case it generates a RFE for an applicant? Because I see few people say last 2 or 3 paystubs and few say last 3 months etc..for the Emp Letter RFE .Does anyone have an idea like exactly how many paystubs INS requires? Thans in Advance
