I am in the same (rocking) boat as you. Not sure whats keeping thats smile on our face :(

FP1 = 5/02
FP2 = 5/04

Raised enquiry with USCIS, they responded that its still in process and I have to wait.

Sought help via Senator's office.....same reply as the one I got from USCIS.

Talk about extreme frustration.
 
hahahah I am here too. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: rrkd our dates are almost the same. We did FP2 on May 13th 04 as well. Our RDs are 02-15-02. Initiated inquiry, expedite fax and contacted NJ senator Corzine. Still waiting.... Just applied AP3, hopiing at least that would put a sense in the people's head to pick up our files from the dust and approve it. :D :D

got a reply "pending service consideration"
called and some one said it is transferred to newark.
Sent status check again. nothing yet.
I dont think we can do much

Jan '02...still waiting....

Things I already did -
1.Just contacted senator(yet to hear back ) :rolleyes:
2.Faxed expedite request ( got reply...manpower shortage for doing security check) :(
3.Faxed FBI ...got e-mail reply...check was done on 25-Dec-02. :)
4.Called FBI for FP - Both Fp1 & Fp2 results were sent back within 24 hrs. :)
5.Attorney contacted AILA VSC Liaison....attorney will get back in a month (mid of Sept)... :confused:

My new activities -
1.Checking this forum every 1 hr to find anyone getting approved from Jan/Feb of '02 ;)
2.Checking LUD twice everyday :eek:
3.Thinking of going to VSC before it is too late :confused:
 
My lawyer contacted sc & they told that u will here within 30 days(before sept17).
So I am waiting for their reply
 
Good Luck to all of you . I hope that all of you will be approved before september'04 end. It's too bad that they are approving a whole lot of late 2002 and early 2003 applicants and left out some early 2002 applicants. Immigrationportal.org has prepared a new letter yesterday to address the random processsing issue and it will be sent out to about 50 congress men in this week-end.

I contacted the senator they said my application is waiting for second finger print. But they couldn't tell when it will be scheduled.
 
Hi rajesh..

I did my 1fb in june5 2002 and after a long wait I got my 2fb in 2004 june end.My lawyer contacted them.U should try at least the local office for fp without fp notice.

Finally after contemplating so much I filed AP3 last week. Hoping at least that will do something. Got a reply from FBI name check for the request sent in first week of July. They said our name check results were sent to INS back in Jan 2003. Don't know really what is holding my case. No LUD since June 9th 2004. We did FP2 in May 04.

It’s a so frustrating when u saw approval for late 2002 & 2003..

No any latest update on my case after transferred to Ny on 6/04 and no letter from Ny saying they received my case.

How long more to wait?
