Does anyone have an estimate of number of outstanding EB1 cases at VSC? If yes, can you post it?

I see that there are slightly less than 200 views for each new post on this forum. Is it then fair to assume that there are about 200 interested folks that visit these forums periodically? Assuming that 20% of all applicants know of this forum and visit here occasionally, is it safe to assume that there are about 1,000 EB1* current applicants?
We could assume that the SC with the heaviest load has about a third of all pending cases, implying a case-load of about 400 cases.
If one person can go through a case in 2 days, and if there are two people assigned to these cases, there would be a processing rate of one-a-day. But that requires that they actually work on these cases. We all know that's where the problem lies.

I have good news to report. Our EB-1 OR case, filed on May 29, 2002 has been approved according to online status.

yes, I called BCIS 3-4 times, but each time they told me they cannot put an inquiry since it was not yet 15 months, and soon after the 15 months it has been approved. I was told by company imig specialist that the processing dates posted by VSC and other service centers are quite accurate. So, I am sure they are processing your case right now, and you will get approval very soon.
