As there has been significant progress on December cases(atleast in the area of issuing RFEs), lets get a measure of the no. of people waiting for approvals after sending the RFE response.
Please post your details if your RD, ND is in December 2001, an rfe has been issued and the response has been sent. July was a very good month for dec waiters as NSC approved several cases within a week or two of receiving the rfe response.

Lets track the December progress.

Responded for RFE on July 31 '03. Online status updated saying they have received the RFE response.

Received my 2nd FP notification yesterday. Scheduled for 9/12. First prints expired on 7/23 and BCIS received the response to rfe on 7/30. Would it have made a difference if the response reached them by 7/23...who knows and who cares!!!

Starbucks, as your finger prints expire on 8/28 and your rfe response has already reached BCIS, I have a strong feeling that you'll get approved very soon. My rfe response reached BCIS one week after the finger prints expired and they now sent me a notice for second FP. But in your case, I see absolutely no reason for them to do that...but again its BCIS we are dealing with.

I wish you all the luck and hope you receive your approval without the need for 2nd FP.

I hope that you will get your approval soon too (maybe before
the second FP is taken after all it is BCIS !!!!)

Did anybody get approved after responding to rfe and then giving second fp? Please share your details. NSC seems to be working actively on Jan'02 cases(data from Rupnet in the last two weeks) and probably waiting for the second fp results for most of us Dec filers who have already responded to their rfes.

2nd RFE has been generated on 09/02/03.

1st RFE response has been received by them on 07/31/03. But our FP is going to expire on 09/28/03 (assuming it is valid for 15 months). It looks like they are still working on Dec '01 cases too.

We have to keep our fingers crossed about the 2nd RFE. Probably we may be asked to go for 2nd FP soon... :confused:

Completed our second FP at the Alexandria ASC this morning. RFE response was received by BCIS on 7/30. Is anybody from December'01 in a similar situation? Any idea how long it's going to take from here?

Got the second FP done at the beginning of July, BCIS update the case at the end of August. No RFE requests. Really hope you are right, that BCIS is processing the December '01 cases now...
