How many days to receive notice after online status approval message was posted?

Hi,

My spouse's 485 (RD: Dec 2002) was approved on June 17th per online status message and USCIS emails. We are waiting for an approval notice via postal. (My 485 was already approved long time ago).

Questions:
1) How many days will the official approval notice be arrived? (I know it said, "if you haven't recieved a notice for 14 days, please contact USCIS".. Just wanted to know what average of days most people get their approval notice).

2) For stamping, is it possible to show email of approval status message with receipt number (or online status message) to the officer? Just curious.

3) For anyone who went for stamping, what documents are needed for stamping beside passport, photos, and EAD? (I am not sure if there is a new policy for stamping procedures.)

Thanks,
USGC485

Same questions here

My AD is June 18th, still no notice in mail.
Seems like we have new backlog, now in mail room.

I read that some people stamped with just printout of email.
It would be really nice if somebody will confirm that this is indeed possible.

just received an official approval notice via postal

We just received an official approval notice. It mentioned appointment time for stamping, two photos (instructions for photos), I-94, and ead cards/AP (if you have), address of building, and arrival/departure record.

Question: What is arrival/departure record? Arrival/departure record is I-94?

Thanks,

Yes. You can show the E-mail approval notice and get the stamping. I did that at Arlington, VA in May 2004.
