How many days it takes to get EAD receipt?

Guys,

How many days it takes to get EAD receipt from USCIS? Sent the renewal app on Sep 24th, Postal tracker says that they got it on 26th.

I sent out my EAD application on 8/22 and it was received on 8/25. I got the receipt on 9/6.

the fee 120 has to be paid in favour of DHS Or INS

money order to INS

I applied for my wife in early Sept. New case, not renewal.

I paid my money order to INS. It seemed to be ok. I got my receipt.

Sorry I do not have exact dates, but it took about 1-2 weeks,
just a little longer than I thought it should be.
