How many days after employment query

A friend of mine has applied for I-485 in Sept'02 and he got an employment based query which he has replied about a month back. Can somebody tell me appoximately how many days it could take to get the approval.
Someone got the similar kind of query and approved recently?

Now a days nothing to say. I got RFE for paystubs etc... on August 26th and they received the reply on October 15th nothing after that so far. RD 02/2002.

Common sense says a september 02 RD case should be touched/approved after most of the cases till august touched or approved. But USCIS doesn't work that way. It could be anybody's guess. I wouldn't hope too much on that for the next six months and let your friend thnik on that instead of you.
