When the 485 is approved, how many days does the applicant have to go for stamping? Can one schedule the stamping date with USCIS one month after the 485 approval date?
 
There is no time limit that you have to go for stamping within a certain number of days after approval? Is it possible to get GC without stamping?

Just kidding,
I know there are technical irregularities mistakes made by INS) but you need
passport stamped to complete the process.
I understand you are avoiding to make public appearence
