How long ?

How long does it normally take for the IIO's to open your case after the RFE response has been received by them ? A month ??? or weeks ??. Someone had send out a note before with some estimations and justifications . Any ideas ??

Depends if the CAO (case ajudication officer - IIOs do NOT ajducate cases) keeps it on his/her desk or returns it into the queue after the RFE is generated.

I've seen anywhere from 5 days to 5 months. It took my case two months after the RFE response was submitted.

My 8 ball...

tells me that it's too hazy and cannot predict what BCIS's future is like...

Seriously, a week to 6 months, maybe more. Mine's 5 months plus....
