How long would be the delay , I-485 at NSC..

Guys,
Help me out to .....

My I-140 was approved for CP, but filed I-485.
We did not inform NVC about it.
So if the papers are gone to india consulate, how long would that dely the
I-485 approval.

Is there anything I can do to make it move faster..

INS does not have any time frames,

All INS SErvice centers will not have any time frames, we have to depend on their mercies, some cases they approve in 180 days, some takes 270 days , some takes 360 days & some takes more than 800 days, so keep your fingers cross!!
 
tpp_1, for a CP approved case filed as AOS takes about 4-6 additional time over the exsting time for

I did the same way, I-140 with CP, waited 6 months and filed I-485 with visa # was available to me without anything to do with NVC, and now 485 got approved.

FYI -my case info:
EB2
PD: Jun/99
I140/CP: approved in 1 month
RD/ND: Feb/01
FP: Apr/01
AD: Jan/02

INS requests info in batchs

As per my lawyer, it seems
in such cases INS requests information from NVC in BATCHs.

Any one heard the same thing.
