How long will it take to get AP and EAD renewal?

Hi folks.. My AP expires on 10/08/00. I applied for renewals of both AP and EAD a couple of weeks back. I have a business trip overseas coming up on 10/08-10/09 and am wondering if I will get my new AP by then. From what date will it be effective? On the AP renewal form my lawyer wrote 10/15/00 as the expected date of travel which is off by a week. Will appreciate your response....
EB1 OR, RD Aug99, ND Sept99, FP July00.
EAD expires Oct00, AP expires Oct00.

I am also an EB1-OR, with AP and EAD pending at VSC. We are still awaiting our FP letter.. when did u get yours? Where was your FP done?

We got our FP done at the Hartford Center on 07/15/00. The letter came to my lawyer before the July 4th weekend.

EAD Renewal should work out in one months time. I applied on 6/22/00 and received the card along with receipt notice on 7/24/00.

VSC, Ist Renewal.
