How long we can wait to have stamping done?

Hi All,

We recieved the courtesy 485 approval letters this Monday. However, since our son (he is 5 years old) won't be able to come back to US (he has valid AP) until late Jan. 05, we would like to have your idea or if any one has similar experience.

- Can my wife and myself have our stamping done now and have my son's done when he comes back?
- How long can we wait after receiving 485 approval letters till actual stamping?
- Is there any problem for my son to re-enter US with AP while he has approved 485?

We are in LA area.

wait till the cows come home....but it's recommended you get it done sooner than later so that the entire GC process can be completed.

He will not have any issues re-entering the US.

Thank you very much for directing me to that thread, people there have exact same issue as I have and some suggestions and experiences do help me how to tackle this kind of unexpected problem.
