How long we can go on AP ?
is it ok. if it is more than 60days
is there any restriction on AP, not to Stay more then 60 days
 
Its OK!

You can go till validity of your AP, meaning upto 1 year. But it is always preferrable to come back as early as possible so that your 485 can be resumed. I heard till the time you are out of country 485 will be on hold.

I don't think so. What is there to put on hold? For the most part, our 485 is sitting in a cue awaiting it's turn. It would not be practical for BCIS to respond to every I-94 issued, putting the case on hold when leaving the country and then resurrecting it when returning.
 
My wife went on AP for 6 months. Had no problems for re-entry.

Doesn't look like her 485 went on hold, bcos she got FP after she came back at the same time I got mine. (I had gone for only 2 weeks).
 
I have seen a few approvals while on AP

In that case POE gives 30 days in I-94 for stamping. Its not true that I-485s are hold while on AP.
 
No Hold

Our 485 was approved when we were out of the country on AP. So no question of 485 being put on hold when you are out.
