Urgent questions on Citizenship application

Hi -

I received my GC in 2001. Do I need to wait for a full 5 years before I could apply for citizenship? OR knowing that it could take up to a year for the citizenship process to finish, can I apply for it after 4-4.5 years?

how long is it taking GC holders located in the Northeast to get their citizenships these days?

And also, I have filed a complaint with my State's Discrimination Agency because a local business had discriminated against me based on my national origin. Could this act against my application for US Citizenship in the future?
(under the demonstration of good conduct test).

Have you read through the FAQ for the naturalization process? I am sure you haven't. Because it is clearly written that you can apply 90 days prior to fulfulling the time requirement.
