How long to cash $390 check at Vermont ?

They *will* take your money fast. But sending you the receipt, now that's .. ahem .. a bit slower :).
It took us about a month from the time we sent in our app to get the 797. But the priority date was still the date they rec'd it though so just relax and coast about on this slow and relaxing journey ! If your luck is like most other people, you will get it eventually, the challenge will be to not pull your hair out in anxiety meanwhile.
Pray to the "immigration gods" daily, as wouldbecitizen would advice you.

I think it reached the INS as I can see the signature proof, it is some kind of special arrangement by INS to pick fedex packages every morning.

Seems like there is at least one paranoid around - that could be equal to me :) You are tense already. Are not you?

BTW I got my GC through Vermont and I beleive it is the best SVC center for INS in the country. Do not tell anybody. Ok?

My check is cashed , but the image is so poor that can't see the case number. What is the format of the case number ? so that I can guess from image

I hope you are aware that you will have to include the '*' after ESC.

It takes about a month for your case to appear online. Be patient!!

That's if you are lucky. For a lot of people it will never appear online! :(
 
Yes I agree. Do not assume that your case status will ever appear online. It need not. Even if it does, there is no guarantee of even a shred of accuracy in what it says. There is a separate thread on going about this. check it out.
