Nobody can answer this question. The only thing u can do is wait. I know a person who waited year and a half for interview (he won the case). I personally waited 3 months after fingerprints. Good luck.

Unless you live far far away from an Asylum Office it should be only a few months. The USCIS does not want to delay this as you become work eligible after six months.

The day you apply for asylum..you are in legal status even if takes them 4 years or 6 years or 2 months to interview you...

Yes!!
I applied asylum in 04/1993, and were interviewed in 06/2000, because of the damned "last come first serve" policy issued in 1996/1997.

Are you talking about the first Interview At the INS office?

sadasylee you are not alone..I applied in 1994 and got Interviewed in Late 1999's...while one of my family members applied in 1996 and got interviewed in 1998...Go figure...She already has her GC...whereas I waisted my few years beacuse of the F*CKER CLinton who screwed up asylum interviews...Before the law passed, INS was a mess however after the law passed INS didn't have enough officers to clear up the millions of asylum applications lagging for 10 years...

Professor Shamshon will come in and give you a lecture, even though reliable reports place him at a California state mental hospital.
